Watsonville Airport (KWVI)
Watsonville Municipal Airport, home of the Watsonville Fly-In and Air Show, is located on California's central coast near Santa Cruz, Salinas and Monterey.
This historical World War II airport is home to over 300 corporate and private aircraft. Watsonville serves as an agri-business hub for local companies and has played an important role in emergency airlifts to support the community.
Given it's multiple runway configuration, central location to surrounding major and general aviation airports, various categoies of airspace KWVI offers excellent training opportunities. These include flight training, aircraft rentals/sales, scenic flights, maintenance facilities and even a restaurant on the field.

FLIGHT REVIEWS and the FAA Safety Team seminars
Every pilot must complete a FLIGHT REVIEW within the preceding 24 calendar months.
Maintaining proficiency is an on-going process. Straight-and-Level can help by administering Flight Reviews and/or consulting per the FAA's "WINGs Program" and monthly FAAST safety seminars.
TRANSITION....moving to High Performance and/or Complex Aircraft.
Transition to a high performance aircraft (greater than 200 horsepower) or complex aircraft (controllable propeller, wing flaps and retractable landing gear) can be demanding for pilots without previous experience.
These aircraft normally have increased performance and require additional planning, judgement and skills. Straight-and-Level can provide ground and flight consulting to help you transition to these aircraft.
